This argument is not partisan. The way CCP is handling this, it seems the scale of the operation had precedence over the legality of the operation. A true sandbox can only be concerned about legality, not scale.

Under the current system, the best CCP can hope for is to reduce the margin gain on market outliers. Jewbal did it at 81 ISK/LP, but even at 810 ISK/LP it's a profit. The entire "let's base a reward system on player-determined market prices" idea...
